A Review of Samsung Galaxy S10E

The Samsung Galaxy S10E might not seem a great option after using other S10 phones but it is the smartphone which tends to be far less problematic. The only reason you might not find this phone much of an attraction as compared to S10 and S10 Plus is its small size but the matter of fact is that it is just as powerful as S10 5G, which tends to stand out only when there are supportive networks available.

The best thing about S10E is that it has been equipped with the same features which are available in S10 Plus but at a pretty lower cost. S10 Plus is available at price of $1000 while S10E can be bought at $750.

The specs of S10E are the same. It uses Android Pie interface with Samsung's One UI. The chipset inside the phone is Snapdragon 855. Display of the phone is amazing and the battery life is quite stronger. You can also charge this phone wirelessly using Qi-enabled devices.

Samsung Galaxy S10E doesn’t come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner like S10, S10 Plus, and S10 5G. Instead, it has the fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. This fingerprint scanner is more accurate than the ones that are present in the screens, according to what most of the users say.

Galaxy S10E as compared to Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus
The first thing that you are going to notice in this comparison is the size of Galaxy S10E which is smaller than the both S10 and S10 Plus. But the matter of fact is that the S10E is more like a powerhouse of a smartphone. The major differences come down to size, number off cameras, screen resolution, battery and storage.

With Galaxy S10E, you can get storage options of 128GB and 256GB. On the other hand, you can go for 1TB while buying S10 Plus. Most of the people do not need 1TB of storage. However, if you want enhanced storage capacity, you can use a 512GB microSD as an extension of 128GB of internal storage.  The 3,100-mAh is a smaller battery as compared to S10 Plus’s 4,100-mAh battery. However, it is still going to last a day.

Size of the phone and other design features
Galaxy S10E is referred to as a smaller device but the matter of fact is that it is only comparatively smaller than the S10 and S10 Plus. This phone is pretty much of the same size as that of iPhone XS. The 5.8-inch screen is not very small.

With this “small sized” phone, taking photos with one hand is quite easier. If you have held Galaxy S10 Plus in your hand, you would know that this phone is just a bit smaller than a small sized tablet. There is no way you can take photos using this phone comfortably using one hand.

Fingerprint scanner in power button
The ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner in S10 and S10 Plus is supposed to be a huge advantage. However, this feature hasn’t lived up to its promises due to accuracy issues. In several instances, a user might have to swipe the finger more than once in order to unlock the phone.

On the other hand, the fingerprint scanner integration into the power button in S10E has turned out to be a huge advantage. It is more accurate as compared to other S10 phones. However, the only issue is that this fingerprint scanner is in a comfortable spot for the right-handed people only.
